I was drawn to art and music as a kid, to multimedia performance and variety of animation in college, and got into fine art, music, animation of my own, which led me into digital art and design starting in 1982.
My life and my career have been spent exploring various combinations of media to tell my own stories and to help others tell theirs.
This has led to helping redesign an application that manages global satellite networks, projections for stage, nearly $1 billion worth of products made in four countries, album covers, flyers, banners and displays, architectural signage,
Around the design side I have done R&D of specialty printing processes, color management and intercoat adhesion of ink systems, calculating geometry for odd objects, creating databases to manage product development for a global manufacturer.
Ultimately, what I love is combining design and technology to solve problems.

When I was at UCSD, I was inspired by animation and multi-media performances that were unique storytelling experiences via music, media, and technology. That led me from film animation, to computer graphics, composing music, and finding other ways to tell stories and help others design their products, marketing materials, packaging and websites—all of which I consider storytelling in some way.
My personal art gravitates toward whimsical fantasy, atmospheric music, abstract animation, and combining these things to create atmospheres and tell stories.
